The current site design for Superunleaded, I hatched this idea in 2003 as a sort of photo blog. Instead of showing photos by date, however, I attached a single keyword to each photo as well as a caption. Then, within each photo, I identified interesting features and applied single keywords to those as well. By clicking on a feature in the photo, the user is taken to the photo attached to the chosen keyword. Many keywords are still without photos, but the system works well and even with a small database of words and photos, it’s a very interesting way to jump from one interesting photo to another.
The site is viewable at superunleaded.org. By default, a random photo is chosen. Simply refresh the page to see a new one, or click somewhere on the photo to be taken to another.
